Aluminum group draws new leader from industry

Brock Heidi Biggs Brock will be the new president of the $6 million-revenue Aluminum Association, effective Oct. 1, the group announced Sept. 6. Brock replaces Steve Larkin, who has led the group since 1998. Brock comes from Weyerhaeuser, where she most recently was vice president of federal and international affairs. Previously, she was the company’s vice president for e-business; in that position, she served on the board of ForestExpress, an electronic marketplace formed in 2000 by Weyerhaeuser, Georgia-Pacific and International Paper.
